DISKI Pros Academy in Kokstad, KwaZulu-Natal, brought smiles to fans after playing a goalless match against Westville Ladies FC in Durban on August 3.
Diski Pros Academy played the second match under the KwaZulu-Natal Sasol leagues.
During the recent league opening game, the team was defeated against Lindelani Ladies FC. Coach Lindo Xaba said that the ladies’ team spirit had been boosted and club players were training hard to prepare for a single match this weekend.
Diski Pros Academy will face DUT Coastal FC on Sunday, August 10, at Riverview Stadium in Kokstad. The match that was scheduled between Diski Pros Academy and Sapphire FC on Saturday has been cancelled.
Xaba said the good performance of the squad is being influenced by the addition of four senior players.
“We added three experienced field players and one goal keeper to strengthen the defending side of the team. All of these players have been playing together and they have a good connection on the field,” he said.
