GOSPEL artist Zukisa ‘ZG’ Khwaphuna of KwaBhaca (Mount Frere) has been using his voice to spread love and humanity.

He also uses his gospel music to change lives and encourage people to live faithfully. He launched his music journey in 2014 when he realised singing could uplift people’s lives and spread hope.

His first album called Asibuyeli Emuva with 10 songs was released in 2014 to give strength to people. He released another album Bheka uJesu Yedwa in 2015 to remind people about the importance of Jesus. Another album, Amandl’ Endumiso, with 16 tracks, was released in 2020.

“The album contained a hit track called Kunentlungu that was mostly loved by my followers,” he said.

In 2021, he launched a single track Icebo Lakho, as well as another one called Hamba Mfana Wam launched in 2024. Apart from singing, Khwaphuna also works as a pastor for the All Nations Faith Mission church based in Johannesburg.

He said he helps upcoming artists to find recording labels that work with other churches.

His future plans are to form a gospel group to make an impact in the community.
