A ROCKY start for the Diski Pros Academy in the KwaZulu-Natal Sasol Provincial League turned out to be victorious as the league drew closer to the end.
The Kokstad-based club finished the league with 19 points after playing 10 games. They won six games, lost three and drew one match.
Coach Lindo Xaba said that the women’s soccer team finished in second place in Stream C.
He said the recent new recruitments helped the squad to win most matches and improved teamwork.
“We are proud of what we have achieved this season,” he said. Diski Pros Academy will soon play a friendly match against Sinenkani Ladies FC as part of preparing for the next league season.
