AWARD-winning model, Phumeza Zulu, has pleaded for votes to help her bring home the Classic Queen South Africa 2026 title when she competes at the crown ceremony in June.

The EmaXesibeni-based nurse from Umzimkhulu is currently in the top 10 of the pageant. She established her modelling career in 2021 when she participated in the Miss Destiny South Africa pageant and Miss Township South Africa.

She has several titles to her name, including Miss Face of Sinoncedo 2021, Miss Township South Africa Public Choice and Miss Township South Africa Ambassador.

In 2022, she won Miss Empower Eastern Cape Entrepreneur, Miss Empower Entrepreneur Public Choice, Miss National South Africa 2nd Runner Up, Miss National South Africa Charity and Miss National South Africa Ambassador. In the following year, Zulu won Miss Universal Queen South Africa 2023 and went on scoop Miss Top Model South Africa in 2024.

“I decided to enter Classic Queen South Africa because it is more than a beauty pageant but a powerful platform for change and growth. I believe my infertility advocacy deserves to be heard on a national scale, and Classic Queen South Africa provides the credibility, reach and influence to amplify voices that have been silenced for too long,” she said.

She said winning Classic Queen South Africa will enable her to advocate for change, using her voice to educate, inspire and create meaningful impact across South Africa.

Voting details may be found on the Facebook Page: Mizana Zulu.
