THE Kokstad community is reeling in shock following the double murder that involved a meter taxi driver (43) and his friend (46) on Monday, August 18.
The pair was found dead in a green Honda ballade vehicle in Shayamoya at midnight, with gunshot wounds to their heads.
Police spokesperson Sergeant Mosa Hlaki said that the motive for the shooting remained unknown as police launched investigations. She said police have planted informers regarding this case and appealed to anyone who might have information to contact the branch commander Lieutenant Colonel Mzelemu on 082 4115130 or 039 727 7300.
