THREE suspects charged for the murder of former ANC Youth League secretary general, Sindiso Magaqa, are set to stand trial from May 18 to June 12, 2026.
The suspects, Sbonelo Myeza, Mbulelo Mpofana and Zweliphansi Stanley Skhosana, also face charges of conspiracy to commit murder, murder, attempted murder, unlawful possession of a prohibited firearm, unlawful possession of a firearm, unlawful possession of ammunition and malicious injury to property. Meanwhile Skhosana also faces defeating the administration of justice.
They all appeared in the Pietermaritzburg High Court this week. Natasha Ramkisson-Kara, NPA regional spokesperson for the KZN division, said that Myeza and Mpofana will remain out on bail, while Skhosana will remain in custody following an unsuccessful bail application.
