HOLIDAYS are over for Diski Pros Academy football players who returned to training this week.

The Kokstad-based women’s soccer club was on recess due to the festive season. Club coach Lindo Xaba announced the return of players on Thursday, January 15, to prepare for the start of the league season.

He said that the club might lose players this January due to relocation.

“As soon as we establish the number of players that haven’t returned, the club will start recruiting new players. The club will also assess the readiness of players to participate in provincial league games,” he said.

Diski Pros Academy plays in the KwaZulu-Natal Sasol Provincial League.

Before the end of last year, Diski Pros Academy finished the KwaZulu-Natal Sasol Provincial League with 19 points after playing 10 games. They won six games, lost three and drew one match.

They finished in second place in Stream C.
