PREPARATIONS for next year’s Splashy Fen have started with event organisers announcing the first batch of artists lined up this week.

The country’s longest-running music festival will be hosted from April 2-6 in Underberg, KwaZulu-Natal. The event will be a festival of music and memories as it will mark 35 years of unforgettable memories, world-class live music and community magic. Festival organisers have urged fans to secure their spots early.

They said the festival will feature six stages of live music, over 300 artists, including international acts, food trucks, stalls and artisan vendors.

Festival goers can expect family-friendly spaces and children’s entertainment, plus a variety of activities like yoga, trail runs and workshops. The first batch of artists announced are: Jeremy Loops, Billy Raffoul (Canada), Jack and The Weatherman (Netherlands), Matthew Mole, Veranda Panda, Booshle G, Jesse Clegg, Louise Carver, The Kickstands, Tanner Wareham and Angel Mazibuko.
