IT does not matter which dance style you favour; if you have a rhythm, Ama-Explosives can dance for you.
The Kokstad-based dance group has been keeping the local community moving with unique dance techniques.
The aim is to get everyone dancing and moving. The group performed at the recent event in Old Orchard with costumes playing a significant role in elevating their performance. Dance group representative Patrick Jansen said that the group consists of talented dancers and singers who leave unforgettable memories everywhere they perform.
“Thanks to the generous sponsorship provided by Mdladla Siseko, the group was able to don eye-catching costumes that not only enhanced their stage presence but ignited a wave of excitement and pride among performers and spectators,” he said.
He also thanked individuals and organisations that continue to support the group.
He further said that he founded a programme called Explosive Rhythms to nurture and expose local dance talent on a broader scale and usher new artists into South Africa’s vibrant entertainment industry.
His goal has always been to create a platform where raw talent meets real opportunity.
