FOOTBALL fans for Drakensburg FC celebrated the club’s performance following the recent victory against FC Bizana Classic in the Alfred Nzo regional league games in Mbizana.
Last Sunday, November 23, Drakensburg FC defeated FC Bizana Classic 2-1.
Drakensberg FC manager Lehlohonolo Lebenya thanked supporters for their enthusiasm and highlighted how the team dealt with all the challenges they encountered at the start of the league.
“We are grateful for the support and look forward to turning things around next year,” he said while pleading for more support.
He wished football players and fans a happy holiday season, and said the club will play league matches in January next year.
Drakensburg FC is currently in third position with 11 points. In the same position with 11 points are Matatiele City FC and Burning Fire FC.
Mtamvuna FC has 10 points, Bhubesi FC and Peace Maker Magusheni FC have six points, and FC Bizana Classic has five points.
Bizana Lucky Stars FC remains on top of the log with 13 points, followed by Iqhayiya Sports Academy with 12 points.
