COMMUNITY members of Dundee in EmaXesibeni (Mount Ayliff) will commemorate Women’s Day by participating in sports activities hosted by the Eketshe Sports Festival.
The first edition of the women’s sports tournament on Saturday will celebrate and honour women by engaging in sport.
Organiser Anga Simbabalwe Jakuja said the Eketshe Sports Festival was established to empower young people through sport and also to honour the legacy of the 1976 youth.
Jakuja said over 16 netball teams across EmaXesibeni will compete, and winners will receive prizes.
