MULTI-award winning gospel singer Nolly Fumba of the small town of Ntabankulu in the Eastern Cape has made history in her music career after she bagged two awards at the Mzansi Arts and Media Awards in Johannesburg last Friday, May 1.
She won Best Musical Artist and Best MC second runner up.
She described her wins as a testament of her hard work, while thanking her followers.
“In my music journey, I’ve been treated well and loved by my supporters. Their votes and support towards the awards ceremony have been remarkable,” she said.
She has been thriving to build her name using her unique voice.
Her first album called We Glorify was released in 2010, followed by the second album Ndizombonga Ngani in 2012.
Between 2013 and 2024, she released three albums, which included Hlabani Umkhosi, released in November 2024.
She has won awards such as the Best Gospel Album in 2016, Best Church Artist in 2017, Best Gospel Artist in 2018, Best Gospel Artist and Best Female Artist in 2023.
