POLICE in Lusikisiki have launched investigations following the horrific discovery of a woman’s body estimated to be 30 years old next to a grave site.

Captain Welile Matyolo said the body was found on Sunday, November 2, in the New Town area.

“The deceased woman had dreads, was slightly light in complexion and was allegedly strangled, having bruises on her arms. Found next to her body were used condoms,” Matyolo said.

If anyone has a family member that has recently gone missing, police have appealed to them to contact Lusikisiki police station detectives to identify the body.

Anyone who can identify the deceased’s body must contact Lusikisiki detective head Colonel Kufa on 083 ‪427 9656.
