ANC outlines plans for renewal

AFRICAN National Congress (ANC) in Tolomane Mnyayiza region has commended the historic Roll Call, on Monday September 15, convened by the ANC National Executive Committee.

It brought together over 4 000 ANC councillors from across the country.

The Tolomane Mnyayiza region said that the Roll Call served as the platform to officially unveil service delivery and infrastructure action plan with ANC President Cyril Ramaphosa delivering marching orders to guide the implementation of this critical plan for local government renewal.

“As the Regional Task Team (RTT), we wish to express our sincere gratitude to all councillors and regional leaders for their extraordinary attendance, discipline, and steadfast commitment during the Roll Call. We strongly believe that this dedication reflects our collective resolve to advance the ANC’s mission of delivering meaningful service delivery in our region, reaffirming the pledge we made in our 2021 Local Government Manifesto,” ANC Tolomane Mnyayiza Regional Coordinator Nkazimulo Mavundla stated in a statement.

He commended progress achieved by region in transforming communities and acknowledged challenges that continue to confront communities.

He assured that the Regional Task Team will be committed to the six-point Action Plan adopted by the NEC to fast-track service delivery, strengthen accountability, and promote inclusive growth.

“We firmly believe that by translating this plan into tangible outcomes, we will significantly uplift the quality of life, ensuring that communities experience improved services, greater opportunities, and development that reflect the African National Congress’s commitment to the aspirations of the people,” he added.

The RTT has called on ANC councillors in the Tolomane Mnyayiza region to embrace this mandate and fully support the Action Plan as well as implement marching orders.
