HARRY Gwala District municipal manager Gamakhulu Sineke has advised municipal management and officials to nurture the spirit of collegiality amongst them and also take responsibility on accountability and consequence management.

Sineke was speaking in Kokstad at the Harry Gwala satellite office on Monday. A team of municipal officials later visited water projects in Kokstad as part of an ongoing monitoring programme.  

The team visited the R200 million Kempsdale Dam under construction as well as the Zibeleni water tank that would preserve more than 2 million litres of additional water and the Mgqumeni water treatment plant.

The projects are adding capacity to curb water challenges in the district, especially in Kokstad.
