Models bring smile to orphans

MISS Confidence Kokstad winners spent Women’s Day by spreading love to the orphans at Home of Comfort last Saturday, August 9.

They handed out sanitary towels, warm clothing and other necessities to ensure children living at the orphanage home are supported with dignity and comfort.

The initiative was part of the Women’s Day outreach programme for models. They asked for donations from members of the public to help orphans.

“The day was a beautiful reminder that confidence isn’t just about appearance but kindness, generosity and lifting each other up,” said Minikazi Jojo, Miss Confidence founder. She added that the Miss Confidence brand remains committed to using its platform to empower young women and make a tangible difference in local communities through initiatives like these.

Apart from donating, models also shared their time and talents by teaching children the basics of runway modelling, posture and confidence.

The sessions were filled with laughter, learning and inspiration, Jojo added.

AMA Explosives music group provided entertainment.
