JULY 17 was filled with laughter and celebrations as Lilitha Nursing College hosted a graduation ceremony for nurses at the Christian Centre in Abbotsford, Eastern Cape.
The ceremony marked the culmination of years of hard work, sacrifice and an unwavering calling to serve humanity.
The college has been known for its dedication to excellence in nursing education while offering accredited programmes such as Nursing Science, Midwifery, General Nursing and a range of post-basic specialisations.
It equips students with skills, compassion and resilience needed to make a real difference.
The principal of Lilitha College of Nursing Noxolo Makinana encouraged graduates to serve communities with pride and humility while upholding the values of the institution.
She further expressed her gratitude to lecturers and clinical mentors whose guidance shaped the graduates’ journey.
Eastern Cape Department of Health MEC Ntandokazi Capa commended the graduates for their resilience and dedication. She encouraged them to champion primary healthcare, continue lifelong learning, and play an active role in improving healthcare services across the province.
