THE opening of the Greater Kokstad netball league season last Sunday, February 8, was action packed with exciting moments and goals.
The league was for female netballers (U15 & U17) and seniors, as well as senior male netballers.
Results for seniors were: Kokstad Jaguars won against Leads netball team 14-9; Shayamoya U16 defeated Three Sisters 18-11; Males netball team played a victorious game against Flames 22-4; and Males netball team also defeated Loza Net 14-7.
In the U15s: St Thomas lost to Shooting Stars 13-5; Dot.Com won against Seven Stars 8-6; and KJ Cups lost to St Thomas 9-0.
In the U17s: Hashtag netball team lost to Fire Balls 14-11.
League matches are scheduled to continue on Sunday, February 15.
