Greater Kokstad Municipality would like to remind all qualifying residents that applications for pensioners’ rebates will close on Tuesday, 30 June 2026.If you are a senior citizen (pensioner) and have not yet applied for your municipal rebates GKM encourages you to do so before the closing date.

These rebates are designed to provide financial relief and support to qualifying residents, helping to reduce the burden of municipal service costs. In addition to pensioners, the rebate programme is also available to qualifying: Public Benefit Organisations (PBOs), Non-Profit Organisations (NPOs), persons living with disabilities who receive disability grants, medically boarded individuals, and child-headed households. Application forms can be obtained and submitted at the Greater Kokstad Municipality offices during normal working hours.
