MASTERS FC in Mbizana won the grand prize of R12 000 at the legends tournament at Badibanise Stadium on September 6.
The tournament was for soccer players over 35 years old. Red Ants FC from KwaBhaca came second and won R7 000.
Mfundisweni FC from Flagstaff took the third spot with R2 000. The tournament was organised by XK Legends FC with the aim of creating a safe space for men to network about issues affecting them.
The tournament was a success with the support of the community and businesses.
In total, 13 teams competed for the first prize.
