AS part of ongoing efforts to safeguard borders, KwaZulu-Natal premier Thami Ntuli accompanied by senior government officials and key stakeholders conducted a visit to the Sani Pass Border Post, near Underberg this week.
The visit was intended to assess border management operations and strengthen efforts aimed at enhancing security, migration management and cross-border cooperation.
The premier donated a drone as a means of curbing cross-border crime. The visit also formed part of the government’s ongoing commitment to safeguarding South Africa’s borders, combating illegal activities and ensuring that all border operations are conducted in a lawful, efficient and coordinated manner.
