A MAN (32) of Ngqeleni near Mthatha was arrested for allegedly killing his girlfriend (29) at the Nothintsila village.
The man handed himself over to the Ngqeleni police on Tuesday, October 21.
It was reported that the man accused his girlfriend of infidelity. After a quarrel, the woman was stabbed to death.
Police confirmed the charge of murder against the suspect. Police acting district commissioner Brigadier Vukile Ntuli in OR Tambo has condemned the incident.
