THE municipal council in the Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma Local Municipality has granted special leave to municipal manager Nkosiyezwe Vezi on Wednesday, April 8.

The council further appointed Jabulani Sondezi as acting municipal manager. Sondezi currently works as the senior manager for Corporate Support Services within the municipality.

The municipality expressed full confidence in Sondezis’ capability to provide stability, continuity and effective leadership during this interim period.

Sondezi has been tasked with ensuring that the institution continues to deliver on its mandate of service delivery and good governance without disruption.
