RUNNERS in the local area of EmaXesibeni (Mount Ayliff) and surrounding areas will participate in the October 12 fun run organised by the XJ Athletics Club.

Runners may choose to participate in a 5km or 10km run or a fun walk. The club’s spokesman Bonginkosi Mbotshwa said that arrangements are in place to welcome runners in the second edition of the XJ 10 run.

He said stakeholders and all involved role players have been invited to render their services on the day.

“Last year’s fun run was a success. This year, we look forward to the same and appeal to all runners to register before it gets late,” he said.
