A PROJECT to repair potholes in the Umzimkhulu town has been activated to restore roads and make sure that driving on the roads is safer and more comfortable.

A dedicated team of municipal workers was identified and equipped with necessary tools and machinery to carry out the repair of the roads. The municipality’s stance on maintaining roads reflects its commitment to innovation, cost-saving and maintaining road infrastructure to a high standard.

The municipality promised residents that they could expect improved road conditions and more responsive municipal service moving forward.

It said the repair of potholes is being conducted internally to reduce expenditure.
