INVESTIGATIONS are underway after the murder of two women (58 and 40) in Tlokoeng (Mount Fletcher) in the Eastern Cape.
Police are also investigating the attack of a boy (16).
According to police, the first victim was found dead in a pool of blood with bullet wounds in the upper body.
She was in her bedroom.
The second victim died on her way to a local hospital as she was rushed to a private vehicle. She had a bullet wound in her back.
The injured boy has been hospitalised due to a bullet wound in his left hand.
Captain Ursula Roelofse said that the motives behind the attack remain unclear at this stage, but SAPS are following all possible leads.
Police have asked anyone who can assist with information regarding the incident to contact the investigating officer Sergeant Mthetheleli Nkomo on 071 475 1734.
Police Joe Gqabi district commissioner Major General Lindelwa Vellem has condemned the brutal murders.
She ordered the investigation team to thoroughly investigate the case and ensure that perpetrators are brought to justice.
