The Umzimvubu Local Municipality Mayor, Cllr Zukiswa Ndevu, will participate in a Podcast hosted by Mr Mncedi Dzingwe of Alfred Nzo Community Radio, where she will provide an overview of service delivery initiatives currently underway in various wards of Umzimvubu.
The engagement will be held under the theme: “Restoration of Basic Services and the Rapid Implementation of Projects.” During the podcast, the Mayor is expected to reflect on progress made in restoring essential basic services, outline key infrastructure and development projects, and share the municipality’s plans to accelerate service delivery for the benefit of local communities.
The discussion will also highlight challenges faced by the municipality and the interventions being implemented to address them.
The podcast forms part of Umzimvubu Local Municipality’s ongoing commitment to transparent governance, community engagement, public participation and open communication with residents through accessible platforms such as community radio and social media platforms.
Members of the community are encouraged to tune in and engage with the discussion as the municipality continues to work towards improving the quality of life for all residents.
