SPEAKER for the Umzimvubu Local Municipality in the Eastern Cape, Ndanele Mdzinwa, convened an engagement session recently to strengthen working relations between the municipality and traditional leaders.

The session at the municipal conference centre focused on providing clarity around the Integrated Development Plan (IDP) processes with Mdzinwa outlining a detailed report on its implementation and progress.

“The engagement reflected our commitment to inclusive governance and the recognition of traditional leaders as key partners in development. We believe that strengthening these working relations will lead to more responsive and culturally grounded service delivery,” said Mdzinwa.
