THE South African Football Association (SAFA) in the Harry Gwala region has vowed to reach its target of training 1000 soccer coaches by 2027.
The association’s technical section headed by John Motsa in the Harry Gwala region said the training of soccer coaches will enable them to understand the rules and procedures in football. Last Saturday, July 26, 33 football coaches in the Harry Gwala district received certificates for the D Coaching Licence. It was described as a step forward towards achieving the 2027 goal. The coaches will be doing a C Coaching Licence course in December. Motsa said another group of coaches will be trained for the D Coaching Licence in August.
