DISKI Pros Academy, known as Abantwana Bestayela, have promised to work hard during the KwaZulu-Natal Sasol Provincial League matches set to resume at the weekend. Club coach Lindo Xaba said that the women’s academy has been preparing for the start of the league to make sure that players are fit and steady for action.

He said that club training focused on strengthening the team to be competitive in the league.

“Although the team did not participate enough in friendly matches to fully assess players, we strongly believe that the team will perform well in the league,” he said. On Sunday, July 27, Diski Pros Academy will play against Lindelani Ladies FC in Durban at 1pm.

To prepare for the game, Xaba said that the Kokstad-based club, Diski Pros Academy, have added 18 new players who previously played at junior levels.

In the last KwaZulu-Natal Sasol Provincial League season, Diski Pros Academy finished in position seven of Stream A.
